Our Goal
The University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Paris – Rives de Seine welcomes 3,000 students each year from a wide variety of backgrounds, ranging from recent high school graduates, holders of a higher education diploma and students engaged in continuing education. All our students share a common goal founded on professionalization, academic innovation and educational quality.

Professional Exposure Through Immersion
The University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Paris – Rives de Seine, with the aim of preparing students to enter the labor market or further their studies, combines theoretical knowledge with practical components through supervised projects, seminars with experts, role playing, mandatory internships and the possibility to participate in work-study programs. What’s more is that many of our classes are taught entirely by players in the corporate world. As a result, the qualifications granted by our Institute are widely recognized and universally appreciated for their quality.
The University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Paris – Rives de Seine also helps students to create their own company thanks to the Starter initiative, created in 2015 thanks to the IDEX financing scheme, which provides support to student entrepreneurs from the idea stage to final creation.
A Distinct Approach to Education
The University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Paris – Rives de Seine and its academic staff commit to ensuring that students receive personalized and innovative teaching through programs that reflect changes in technology and society. Class size is small to foster interactions between students and teachers, and supervised projects and continuous assessment contribute to making students more independent. During their time here, students will also be able to participate in a variety of projects, including Challenge de la Pub, the Dataviz Competition, Nuit de l’Info, Masters of Negotiation and the Sales Film Festival. Instead of focusing on a single area, the programs at the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Paris – Rives de Seine have the advantage of exposing students to a broad range of fields to improve the overall quality of learning.
International Partnerships
Under the responsibility of the Director of the Institute, each department is led by a Head of Department along with academic directors who are selected from among the department’s teaching staff.
